5… 4… 3… 2… 1…

We consume hundreds of thousands of hours of content a year. Viewers need creative and interactive approaches to build suspense with their audience. That is just how we helped with two Netflix original series. Paperlyte live streamed a countdown that ticked away, leading to their midnight premieres. Serving as a landing platform that captured viewers and generated buzz. The campaigns around the countdowns were supported with articles and social media.

The Midnight Gospel

An 18 Hour Psychedelic Vibe-Ride countdown was combined abstract and trippy visuals with distorted low-fi sounds and voice overs slowly became coherent over the course of 18 hours.

This was of course Duncan Trussel’s creative direction and we were honored to be able to bring it to life on a live-stream.

The timer was interactive via chat and over time, viewers took notice and realized their interaction determined when a sneak-peek clip would show. As the viewers pieced this together it resulted in stronger engagement and enthusiasm from the fans.
