Stanley Rorschach was a revolutionary psychiatrist who created the process of dropping ink blots on paper and deciphering how patients perceived what they saw. This idea spawned the “Re:Think” theme of the TEDxSMU 2012 event. Paperlyte was tasked with developing an introduction for one of the event’s three sessions, “Looking In.” We used macro videography and compositing to illustrate the spawning of an idea — showing what happens in mere seconds as your brain’s electrons begin to spark and the ideas begin to flow.
