Working with Dallas based branding agency Switch Creative, we set out to bring the story of Waterways to life with an aesthetic driven by visuals of their unique community and environment.
Ok, so what is Waterways?
Deeply rooted in natural surroundings, Waterways is a conservation-based community nestled right outside Savannah, Georgia. By embracing nature with highly crafted coastal homes, Waterways is unique.
Authentic Aesthetic
Maintaining the highest degree of authenticity we built the stories for our video content around the actual residents and their homes.
We connected with residents and learned their stories.
Creating real relationships with residents enabled us to capture honest lifestyle footage and real moments. From kayaking to community gardening to block parties, we didn’t want to miss a single moment of what makes this community so vibrant.
PRODUCTION
We imbedded with the Savannah community for a full week of on-location filming and photography. We not only had specific deliverables but we also wanted to start building a library of media content for the future and creating social videos for future marketing plans and content to help keep the channels current.

Nearly every interview, and shot sequence was meticulously mapped. Navigating the coastal marshes would prove crucial to our success.
Prep started weeks in advance to handle a tight production schedule, different and difficult environments.
The Waterways’s residents and staff invited us into their community and homes and we gave them a few excuses to party and take the boats out.
